Nailgun (Hellfire)

One of the earliest products of the Artificers of Quake, the nailgun features two barrels that alternate firing high-velocity nails at a target.  Originally they were intended for use by the Knights of Quake as replacements for their aging swords, however, the knights never took to them and thus the realms of Quake are littered with hundreds of these discarded weapons as they slowly rust away.

In an attempt to make the weapon more effective a pair of runes was added that coated the nails with hellfire magic when they were fired from the chamber, however, a cooling system had to be added to keep the extreme heat from destroying the barrels.  In addition to added damage on impact the Hellfire module can be upgraded to ignite enemies as well.
